Today, Thursday, Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi issued a decision to form a presidential leadership council.
Hadi transferred all its powers to the newly created body by the constitution, the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism.
He also issued a decision to relieve his deputy, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar from his position
The presidential statement, which was reported by the "Yemen" news channel, clarified that the new Presidential Command Council in Yemen will take over the political, military and security affairs in the country throughout the transitional phase, as well as handle negotiations with the Houthis over a ceasefire.
According to the statement, the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission will be established to support the Leadership Council, which will consist of 50 members.
