Maeen Abdulmalik, Yemeni Prime Minister (PM) said that his government will carry out its work despite all challenges and will not back down.
The Yemeni PM's remark came as a powerful explosion rocked the Aden Airport shortly after a plane carrying the new Yemeni government landed on Wednesday.
Abdulmalik stressed that "the terrorist act that targeted Aden airport is part of a war waged against the state," according to the Al-Arabiya News website.

"We will continue our work until the Houthi coup is ended and the state is restored," he added.
On his part, Yemen's Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani accused the Ansar Allah armed group [the Houthis] of carrying out this terrorist attack on Aden airport, which left many people killed and seriously injured.
“We reassure our great people that all members of the government are fine," Al-Eryani said, affirming that "this cowardly terrorist attack will not deter us from carrying out our national duty."
It is worth mentioning that, initial reports indicate that a drone was used in the attack on Aden airport, injuring at least 20 people.
Notably, Yemen’s new unity government was sworn in, 4 days ago, following long months of violent clashes in southern provinces with Houthis.
