Israeli media reported that the country's political and military leaders spoke to the media individually, despite it being a war government.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported, Tuesday evening, that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Defense Minister, General Yoav Galant, and a member of the “War Cabinet” on Gaza, General Benny Gantz, were speaking to the media individually.
The newspaper explained that the members of the “War Cabinet” spoke separately with the Israeli media, despite being in one council and one unity government, in addition to the fact that a full month had passed since the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip.
The Ahronoth indicated that the office of former Defense Minister Benny Gantz, a member of the current “War Cabinet,” had sent a message to Netanyahu’s office stating the need for coordination regarding media statements, but the Israeli Prime Minister’s office has not responded to Gantz, yet.
Benjamin Netanyahu had said earlier yesterday, Tuesday, that we intend to continue the war on Gaza and we do not want to stop that war on the Strip.
