The Yedioth Ahronoth, an Israeli daily newspaper, described the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip as a battle for learning and gaining experience for the fighters of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad Palestinian movements.
The newspaper said in its article: “In the never-ending battle of learning, Hamas shows great patience in the field and improves its combat performance, which has resulted in these large numbers of deaths and injuries among the ranks of the Israeli army.”
The newspaper added: "In recent days, reports have multiplied from various fighting fronts in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, indicating that Palestinian faction fighters are using snipers against Israeli army soldiers."
The newspaper pointed out that Palestinian faction fighters look for weaknesses in the Israeli forces in Gaza and carry out their attacks on this basis.
Last Sunday, the Israeli army announced the killing of 9 of its soldiers in the battles taking place in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of its dead since October 7 to 486, including 158 since the start of the ground operation, while the total number of wounded reached 1,996, including 826 since the start of the ground operation.
