Xavi: Messi Return to Barcelona Is Impossible At the Moment

Barcelona head coach Xavi said on Tuesday that Lionel Messi return to the Blaugrana is impossible at the moment.

Messi's 21-year adventure with Barcelona came to its end last August after he moved to PSG on a free transfer because of the financial issues in the La Liga club.

During Juventus pre-match conference, he said that Messi has now an ongoing contract with PSG and his return is impossible.

“At the moment, signing Leo Messi is impossible," Xavi said according to Eurosport.com

“We will see in the future. It’s not the time to talk about him,” he added.

Messi signed a two-year deal when joining PSG last summer, with the possibility of a further year's extension.
