The World Youth Forum announced on Saturday closing the registration to attend and participate in the fourth edition of the WYF, which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh from 10 to 13 January 2022, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The WYF had announced in a press conference held at the National Training Academy that registration was open for young people from Egypt and countries of the world to participate in the fourth edition of the forum.
The registration period lasted for a whole month.
More than 500,000 young men and women from 196 countries from different continents registered on the forum's official website, in the following order: Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, South America.
The WYF returns this time with many new activities and events after stopping since 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with a commitment to implement all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all participants from Egypt and various countries of the world.
The Forum is an annual global event held in Sharm El-Sheikh under the patronage of President Sisi.
In 2018, more than five thousand young people from the world participated, and in its third edition in 2019, the forum witnessed the participation of thousands of young people from the world to discuss a number of rich topics on food security, environment and climate, blockchain and artificial intelligence, women’s empowerment, art, and cinema, in addition to a simulation model Union for the Mediterranean Countries.
