Report: WYF Discloses 5 Activities in Upcoming Edition

The World Youth Forum (WYF) announced the details of the activities included in the fourth edition during the period from January 10 to 13, 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, hosting young people from all over the world from different cultures and backgrounds.

The forum includes a number of activities within its agenda for this year.

1- Startup Vein

One of the activities of the fourth edition of the WYF is the "Startup Vein" characterized as an arena for entrepreneurs that allows the sharing of experiences, challenges and successes, as well as the opportunity to communicate with the forum participants.

The WYF2022 will focus in particular on the role of start-ups and small and medium industries in facing the economic repercussions resulting from the Covid-19 epidemic crisis and the ability to turn this challenge into successful investment opportunities.

2- WYF Labs Opportunity for Young Entrepreneurs

They are founded by recommendation at World Youth Forum 2018. The WYF Labs aims to bring together young minds and young entrepreneurs from around the world to promote entrepreneurship.

The WYF Labs offer opportunities for young entrepreneurs to connect with young people, learn about investors, incubators, and more through a number of workshops, dialogues, and mentorship.

The WYF Labs provide an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to unleash their potential.

3- World Youth Theatre

Arts and culture are part of the development and human rights. The theater of the World Youth Forum in its third edition will be launched under the slogan "Arts and culture are part of the development and a human right", committed to observing all necessary precautions during the events.

The World Youth Theatre is home to talented young people around the world to come and showcase their talents created by Youth for Youth as an arts center featuring a variety of performances including musical performances, plays, stand-up comedy shows, inspirational talks, and much more.

4- 'Freedom.e' is the arena of innovation and creativity

Freedom of innovation and creativity opens its doors to young participants, gathering all those interested in technology, and provides a number of applications and solutions to the topics discussed during the forum, where activities and events are held this year in a virtual digital manner.

The third edition of it this year comes as a large educational and entertaining space, as well as an arena that brings people and peoples together through one common language, which is technology.

Participants were able to test new technologies, interact with games, arts and innovative ideas, as well as discover new cultures.

5- Inspiring stories on 'Inspire.d'

Inspire.d ensures that everyone has a story to tell; Stories of achievement, hope, dreams, survival and even failure, and for the first time began during the 2019 World Youth Forum to welcome outstanding storytellers on stage to open their minds, absorb, inspire and share their stories.

Inspire.d presents to the participants in its second edition a number of success stories and challenges of selected models of inspiring and influential youth in various fields.

The WYF is an annual global event held in Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The Forum was launched in three editions in the past years 2017, 2018, and 2019, where more than 15,000 young men and women from 160 countries were hosted over these three sessions.

The WYF aims to bring together the world's youth in order to promote dialogue and discuss development issues, and to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world.

The United Nations Commission for Social Development has adopted the three previous editions of the World Youth Forum in Egypt as an international platform for discussing youth issues.
