World Without Password..Microsoft Reveals 2021 Plans

Microsoft expressing its hope around a future without passwords, according to Sky news report issued Today. The company is tending to make this change, due to the hacking incidents that happen through traffic words.

Meanwhile, the firm hopes that the popularity of these smart methods will increase during the next year, until they become approved and used by everyone, and then, there will be an actual future for a world without passwords.

On other hand, Microsoft is cooperating with several parties in the field of digital security in order to develop more smart methods that help people to abandon passwords and ensure access to their devices safely and smoothly. Later, in November 2019, an important number was revealed, which is that more than 100 million people rely on electronic entry methods without passwords, every month.

Noteworthy, Microsoft uses Orion software, a widely used network management software by Solar Windows, which has been used in suspected Russian attacks on vital US agencies and other targets, according to Tech reportes issued on past Friday.

Brad Smith, the Microsoft’s president, explained the attack illuminated the ways the cybersecurity landscape continues to evolve and becomes even more dangerous.

Meanwhile, the hackers exploited Microsoft’s cloud services while avoiding the company’s infrastructure. On other hand, the hackers inserted malicious code into SolarWinds‘ Orion software updates sent to nearly 18,000 customers. It existed in updates released between March and June of this year.

This attackes led to security breaches at numerous U.S. government agencies. Those include the Treasury Department, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
