Two aircrafts carrying essential aid for the residents of Gaza, courtesy of the World Food Programme, touched down at Al-Arish Airport in North Sinai today, Sunday.

Dr. Raed Abdel Nasser, the Secretary-General of the Red Crescent in Al-Arish, announced that each plane was loaded with 32 tons of hospital supplies, all of which were received by the Egyptian Red Crescent.

Highlighting the growing international support, Dr. Nasser pointed out that with the recent arrivals, Al-Arish Airport has welcomed a total of 11 aid shipments managed by the Red Crescent.

In related news, an aircraft from Tunisia arrived yesterday, laden with over 12 tons of medical supplies, health necessities, and baby formula, all generously donated by Tunisia to aid the people of Gaza. Additionally, shipments from the World Food Programme and UNICEF brought in over 9 tons of medical materials and food. Other aid-carrying aircraft, successively sourced from Jordan, Turkey, the UAE, and the World Health Organization, further underscore the global solidarity with Gaza.
