The UN, leading Arab states, and the EU condemned the Israeli plot to move Palestinians out of Gaza.

In a statement, the UN human rights chief Volker Turk said on Thursday: "International law prohibits forcible transfer of protected persons within or deportation from occupied territory."

According to Turk, he was "very disturbed" by Israeli statements on the issue.

Meanwhile, Arab states like Qatar and Saudi Arabia denounced Israel's remarks.

The state of Qatar said that they amounted to "toxic attempts to block the way to peace opportunities, especially the two-state solution."

Similarly, KSA said Israel's "extremist remarks" merited greater international intervention in the Gaza war.

Also, EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell denounced Israel's rhetoric on Wednesday.

Borrell said: "Forced displacements are strictly prohibited as a grave violation of international humanitarian law and words matter."

Spain said the same day it rejects the recent offensive statements by members of the government of Israel evoking population movements in Gaza that would be contrary to international law.

The arab and international condemnation came after a senior Israeli official briefed the domestic press on Wednesday that Israel was in talks with African countries to take in Gaza refugees.
