A 52-year-old woman was killed and five others, including two children, were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Malaysia on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred near a petrol station in the Lalo area of Kuala Krai in northeastern Malaysia, according to local authorities.
Emergency responders from the Health Ministry confirmed the woman died at the scene after the accident involving two vehicles.
Nik Ahmad Afsham Nik Pa said firefighters were dispatched shortly after receiving an emergency call at 7:18 a.m. local time.
The injured victims were transported to Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai for treatment by ambulance and emergency medical rescue teams.
