Woman Injured in Shooting at North Carolina Hospital

A woman was injured in a shooting, Sunday night, inside a hospital in Wayne County, North Carolina in US, according to "Sputnik".

According to US media, the county spokesman said that the hospital was closed after a shooting incident, and the suspect fled the scene.

Law enforcement officers said they are ready to arrest the suspect, as his identity is known.

Yesterday, US police announced that 5 people were killed and 20 wee injured in a shooting in Tennessee.

The incident occurred at night when a person opened fire at hundreds of people in one of the city’s streets, ABC News network said, adding no suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.

The network indicated that the injured were transferred to hospitals for treatment due to the injuries they suffered.

Earlier، three persons were killed and 11 were injured in a shooting by multiple gunmen in the South Street area in Philadelphia.

Police officers were around the scene of the fire, shortly, they heard the sounds of the shooting, according to Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace.

The officers saw “several active shooters shooting into the crowd,” and one of the security forces succeeded in targeting the shooters before fleeing.

Pace added that South Street is “known for being a corridor of entertainment” due to the presence of several bars and restaurants, adding: “There were hundreds of inpiduals just enjoying South Street, as they do every single weekend, when this shooting broke out.”

Regarding the victims, they were two men and a woman. No further details or information about the victims were released by the authorities.

This accident came amid the status of insecurity due to the rise of shooting incidents.
