Egyptian prominent actress Naglaa Fathi went viral on the internet after a dead woman was discovered on Wednesday near her villa in Fayoum.

The deceased in her 30ths was discovered by Aam Ramadan, a farmer at Fathi's villa, who found her inside a sack floating in the water from which he irrigated the crops, coming from the Snorus canal in the city of Fayoum.

He checked the sack out of curiosity to know what was inside, thinking that it might be clothes or toys, but to his surprise, he found the corpse of the woman, dead and suffocated, with her eyes popped out and her tongue outside her mouth.

Details of the horrific crime

Police investigations for the Fayoum General Directorate found out that the girl's murderer was her uncle who lured her to his home, tied her, then strangled her to death, out of suspicion of her behavior.

Later on, he placed the body in the sack and threw it in a water drain system, but the current pulled the deceased near Fathi's villa, proving that there was not any connection between the crime and the adored Egyptian star.

The Bandar Al Fayoum police station detained the perpetrator for 4 days pending investigations after he confessed his crime to the prosecution, then, acted out the crime, which took place on dawn Wednesday, in Monshat Abdallah village.

It is worth mentioning that Fatma El-Zahraa Hussein Fathi famously known as Naglaa Fathi, is an Egyptian actress, producer, and screenwriter. She was born on December 21, 1951, and began her acting career in 1967 starring in over 80 films.

The actress formed a great acting duo with prominent actor Mahmoud Yassin, making a lot of highly successful romantic movies.
