With Egyptian Folklore .. International Students Meet for First Time At Mansoura University

608 delegates from all over the world studying in the Arab Republic of Egypt will meet together for the first time in the Egyptian government university «Mansoura» under the title «The First Forum of International Students in Egyptian Universities».

Mansoura University welcomed the delegations of students with flowers and sweets, Pharaonic uniforms, in addition to folklore section of the mizmar, the municipal drum and «ElTanora».

The forum will be held in cooperation with the Central Administration of Expatriates Affairs during the period from 27 to 29 January 2019. It is the largest gathering of international students studying in the Egyptian universities at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Mansoura University.

The 608 international students are representing 17 Egyptian universities, as well as Mansoura University and the Central Administration delegation of foreign students representing 35 different Arab, African, Asian and European countries.

The organization of the event comes under the direction of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, announced by the Minister of Higher Education to pay attention to international students.

Dr. Mahmoud El Meligy, Vice-President of Mansoura University and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, said that the forum will be attended by a large number of international students representing various universities. The forum emphasizes Egypt's pioneering role in education and that science is the soft power of Egypt in various countries in the world and Encouraging educational tourism.

The forum includes 17 Egyptian universities in Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Helwan, Al Azhar, Suez Canal, Tanta, Zagazig, Banha, Damietta, Sohag, El Menia, Suez, Beni Suef and El Arish.

They represent many nationalities from different countries of the world: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Jordan.

And from Asian countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan.

African countries: Sudan, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Madagascar, Somalia, Mauritania, Eritrea, Comoros, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Gabon, Central Africa.
