Winter Relief Supplies Included in Egypt’s Latest Aid Convoy to Gaza

In response to severe winter weather conditions affecting residents of the Gaza Strip, Egypt has dispatched extensive winter relief supplies as part of its 115th “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza” humanitarian convoy. 

According to the the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC), the convoy carried essential winter items aimed at protecting vulnerable families from extreme cold. These supplies included approximately 20,200 winter clothing items, 4,500 Blankets, and 1,926 tents to shelter displaced and affected families across the Strip.

The winter aid was delivered alongside large quantities of food, medical, and relief materials, bringing the total weight of assistance in the convoy to around 6,850 tons. Officials said the initiative reflects Egypt’s continued efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians, particularly as harsh weather compounds existing humanitarian challenges.

Since its launch in late July 2025, the “Zad Al-Ezza” initiative has become a cornerstone of Egypt’s humanitarian response, delivering sustained and diverse assistance to Gaza through coordinated national efforts led by the Egyptian Red Crescent.
