World Health Organization (WHO) spokesman Christian Lindmeier said that crews of the UN organization are working to carry out more evacuations from hospitals in northern Gaza as soon as possible, with the truce taking effect, Cairo News Channel reported in breaking news.
Lindmeier declined to respond to comments from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, which said it would suspend cooperation with the organization amid reports that Israel was detaining medical staff for interrogation.
According to the spokesman, the truce in Gaza will last for 4 days, including the release of several Palestinian prisoners in exchange for some Israeli detainees, in addition to the entry of relief aid and quantities of fuel.
Israel also pledged to suspend stories warplanes for 6 hours a day from 10 am until 4 pm over Gaza City and the north of the Strip.
