The White House called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop talking about the US elections, against the backdrop of his support for candidate Kamala Harris in the upcoming elections.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said - in statements reported by Al-Hurra TV on Thursday - that “the only people who determine the identity of the next president of the United States are the American people,” calling on the Russian president to stop speaking and interfering in the American elections.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously confirmed his support for candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential elections scheduled for next November.
