White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki reiterated that the United States has no intention of sending ground troops to Ukraine, even if unconventional weapons are used there.
"We have no intention of sending US troops to Ukraine and waging war against Russia," she said.
She denied the existence of chemical and biological military programs on the American side and said that Russia has such capabilities.
Psaki answered whether the use of unconventional weapons would lead to a revision of the position of the US administration: "I will not go into hypothetical situations. Now we are saying that they have such potential and capabilities. I do not want to go into details of the intelligence. The position of the president on sending the US military to fight in Ukraine against Russia has not changed."
