The White House announced that Vice President Kamala Harris will discuss the conflict between the Israeli occupation and Hamas, as well as efforts to flow humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip with foreign leaders on Monday, according to Reuters.
On the other hand, Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer said that the United States (US) is concerned about the number of civilian casualties resulting from the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and calls on its partner in the Middle East to adhere to international humanitarian law.
“There are innocent people being killed in this conflict in Gaza,” Finer said in an interview with CBS News.
Moreover, he added that it is difficult to predict a timetable for ending the conflict between Israel and Hamas, but US believes that things will not return to the way they were before the Palestinian movement attacked Israel in early October.
