WhatsApp is testing a new iPhone update that brings back animated message bubbles, offering users a more dynamic chat experience along with the option to enable or disable the feature.
According to reports from, the latest iOS beta introduces smoother visual effects for messages, replacing the current static appearance. Instead of appearing instantly, message bubbles will gradually expand into view before settling into place.
The update also includes a dedicated settings option, allowing users to control animation effects according to their preferences.
WhatsApp recently introduced similar functionality in its Android beta version, alongside animation settings for emojis, stickers, and GIFs.
