Ivanka, the daughter and advisor to the US President, Donald Trump, has been quietly urging her father to concede the election to Joe Biden, who has been elected the 46th president of the United States, on November 7.
Trump has refused to accept the results, making unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud and filing lawsuits in several states.
First lady Melania and Don Jr. supported Trump in his claims and tweeted similar messages about voter fraud and 'illegal' votes.
Meanwhile, Ivanka has been silent on social media since Friday, despite her husband Jared Kushner, has been urging her father to gracefully give up the fight and to drop all the recently filed lawsuits and focus on four years from now.
Will Ivanka run for president in 2024?
With Trump losing the US 2020 presidential election, Ivanka isn't just losing her status as she is also losing her job.
Before working with her father as his adviser, she oversaw development and acquisitions for his real estate company, the Trump Organization, and had a fashion clothing line. She also appeared as a boardroom judge on Trump’s reality show, "The Apprentice".
An insider with close ties to the Trump family has told Daily Mail that she sets her sights on her own future White House run.
The source stated that Ivanka has been urging Trump and his administration to admit defeat, adding that she has her own agenda and has had her eyes on the desk behind the Oval Office since day one.
"She is not about to burn any bridges by mouthing off like Don Jr. who keeps lashing out on Twitter, everything she puts out is calculated and well thought out because she is always looking at the big picture," the insider added.
