The World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that "families in the Gaza Strip do not know where their next meal will come from," as the Israeli-imposed blockade on the territory enters its seventh consecutive week.

The UN agency urged all parties to prioritize the needs of civilians, protect humanitarian workers, and allow the immediate entry of aid into Gaza, as the Israeli siege and ongoing violence continue to devastate the population, according to Palestinian News Agency WAFA.

Since March 2, Israel has kept Gaza’s border crossings closed to the entry of food, medical aid, and essential supplies, leading to a drastic deterioration in humanitarian conditions, according to governmental, human rights, and international reports.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian-owned properties in the Wadi Qana area near the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
