Wegz Tested Positive for COVID-19

Famous Egyptian Rapper Wegz announced on his Instagram account that he tested positive for COVID-19 today.

He stated, "I've just tested positive for Corona. I am in Gouna and was in contact with a lot of people, so please get tested If we have seen each other in the past two weeks, stay safe."

The Alexandria based independent rapper started his career in 2017 and he released various songs such as "Bataloh Fake" (Stop Pretending).

His tracks gained huge popularity in a short time bringing him one of the most trending rappers in Egypt.

He cooperated with many Egyptian artists such as Hassan Shakosh. In addition, he performed the official theme song of "Al Ghasala" (The Washer) film.
