We are used to celebrating our children's birthdays, bringing together family and friends, and take photos, but in the time of Coronavirus, how can we celebrate the occasion and keep a record of the sweet memories?!
Aya, an Egyptian mother found a wonderful solution to this problem. She has twin daughters, Sham and Shaden, whose sixth birthday is coming.
So she thought and planned with the help of talented fashion designer, Rania Elgammal, and a creative young photographer, Youseef Diab, to make a memorial photo shoot for their birthday.

* Creative dresses
The photographer liked the style of the European countryside and its beauty and liked to embody it in Egypt, and on this basis, the designer drew and created the dress.
She presented designs that had soft, fluffy, and childish, in addition to a somewhat European touch that suitable for the European countryside, chic and homogeneous in terms of design, and colors.

The designer added: “I relied on Baby Blue and Rose Gold colors with simple couture work. I introduced feathers and embroidery work for the corsage. I also used tulle and organza materials with some simple embroidery”.
Elgammal advised all mothers that when they buy a dress, they should choose a proper design that is suitable for the occasion and the age of the child.

* The idea of the photo shoot
Diab is a professional photographer, who has been specializing for some time in photographing children of different ages. In this shoot, he tried to adapt a film he saw years ago.
The photographer noted: “There was a film I saw years ago and liked very much. It was an old film that was centered in a farm and so it remained in my memory”.

He added: “I saw the dresses, they were a masterpiece. I found that the European countryside is not difficult to do in our place- in Shubra”.
“I started preparing for the shoot and drawing the scenes. I told them about the decorations I needed and the rabbits I required to be in the scenes with the girls, all this helped me, when all the ideas intertwined together the outcome would be something new; art is endless, something new is created daily,” Diab added.

The photographer noted: "We started shooting in a plum garden in Shubra. The place turned out to be quite extraordinary. The girls and dresses were dazzling so I had my chance to take photos as I imagined."
In the end, nothing remains except for wishing a Happy Birthday to Sham, Shaden, and every child celebrating their special day during the coronavirus.
