Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has engaged in an open dialogue with a number of young people of different nationalists, on the sidelines of the 3rd edition of World Youth Forum (WYF), according to Presidency spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi.
World Youth Forum which is currently being hosted in Sharm Al-Shaikh city, resumes its activities for the 2nd day.
The 2nd day includes 13 sessions namely:
- Artificial Intelligence and humans: who controls?
- Prospects of sustainable development in Africa: opportunities and challenges.
- Women and their role in development.
- Challenges facing creative work in the era of digital technology.
- The role of arts in dealing with humanitarian issues.
- How to stay safe in the digital world.
- Combating the discourse of extremism and hatred on social media.
- Human capital development: opportunities and challenges.
- Block Chain: multiple applications and unlimited domains.
- Cooperation in the energy sector among the Mediterranean countries.
-Mediterranean countries: ancient human civilizations and a common history.

It is worth mentioning that, the four-day event kicked off on Saturday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh under the auspices of President Sisi.
The third edition of the Forum is set to tackle many key subjects including the sources of energy in the Mediterranean, food security in Africa, climate change, international security and fighting terrorism.
The WYF2019 is attended by around 7,000 youths representing different countries.
According to the forum’s schedule, participants would attend 24 sessions and 14 workshops to mainly discuss the prospects for sustainable development in Africa, challenges facing creative work in the age of technology, in addition to the energy sector in the Mediterranean countries.
