WATCH: Mona Zaki's Daughter Looks Just Like Her

Lilly, the eldest daughter of Egyptian stars Mona Zaki and Ahmed Helmy, photo session went viral on the internet.

Many users on social media platforms remarked about Lilly look in the comments, saying that she looks a lot like her mother.

Lilly recently made her first media appearance in a television interview with "MBC Trending" broadcast on MBC4.

During the interview, she talked about her artistic talent, noting that since childhood she loved painting, in all its forms, and pointed out that her father helped her a lot in developing her talent, especially as he also loves this type of art.

"My parents are always keen to show her good drawings to their friends," Lilly added.

She continued: "I occupy my free time by drawing, but at the same time I pay attention to my studying,"

Zaki is currently shooting her film “El-Ankaboot” (The Spider) next week co-starring Ahmed El Sakka.

It is scheduled for the Egyptian actress to participate in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with TV series “Isis”, which will premiere during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is written by screenwriter Mariam Naoom, directed by Mohamed Yassin, and produced by synergy Production Company.

This is not the first cooperation between Zaki and Yassin; he directed her 2016 TV series “Afrah el kobba”.

Zaki was born in Cairo in 1976. She graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.

The actress career started by chance at the age of 16, as Egyptian actor-director Mohamed Sobhi was searching for new faces, she applied in the hopes of meeting Sobhi.

She was cast by Sobhi and had her first acting role in his play “Bel Araby El Faseeh”.

She later co-starred in a number of popular TV series such as “El A’elah”, “Khalti Safiya wel Deir”, “Nisf Rabi’ El Akhar”, “Ahalina”, “Ded El Tayyar” and “El Daw’ El Sharid”.

She also co-starred in several plays, among which were “Le’b Eyal”, “Ya Messafer Wahdak”, “Afrouto”, and “Keda OK”.

In 2001, Zaki received an award from Gihan El Sadat, the wife of former president Anwar El Sadat, for portraying her in masterpiece film “Ayam El Sadat” (Days of El Sadat).

A year later, she married prominent Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy and gave birth to three children Lilly, Selim, and Younes.
