British rock band Coldplay performed Saturday evening their new single "Everyday Life", the title track of their new album, on Saturday Night Live (SNL), for the very first time.

Coldplay took to their Twitter account to talk about their performance, saying: " Last night, the album’s title track, Everyday Life, made its debut on @nbcsnl. #EverydayLife."

The band confirmed last October that they will release the new album on November 22, which will be their eighth studio album.
It is set to be a double album, which split into two halves called "Sunrise" and "Sunset".
The first two tracks to arrive from the album were "Orphans" and "Arabesque".
Coldplay was formed in London in 1996. It consists of four members, the lead vocalist/pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion.
They went to University College London and came together from 1996 to 1998, during which, the band changed names from "Pectoralz", to "Starfish", and finally, to "Coldplay".
Coldplay achieved worldwide fame in 2000 with the release of the song "Yellow". The band had also released in 2000 their debut album "Parachutes", which was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
Throughout their career, Coldplay has won numerous awards including nine Brit Awards, six MTV Video Music Awards, seven MTV Europe Music Awards, and seven Grammy Awards.
They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.
Coldplay has supported various social and political causes, such as "Oxfam's Make Trade Fair" campaign and "Amnesty International".
The band had released 8 studio album through their career, which were, "Parachutes", "A Rush of Blood to the Head", "X&Y", "Viva la Vida", "Mylo Xyloto", "Ghost Stories", "A Head Full of Dreams", and "Everyday Life".
