The USA pledged on Monday to respond to the attack that targeted an oil tanker owned by the “Zodiac Maritime” company, which resulted in killing two persons.

However, Iran denied its responsibility for the attack on the Israeli tanker.

Blinken repeated that the USA concluded that Iran used a drone to assail the tanker run by Ayal Ofer, an Israeli businessman.

But no party took the responsibility for that attack that killed two persons one of them is British and the other is Romanian from the crew of Zodiac Maritime.

He excluded suggestions imply that these attacks reflect the hard line of the new President Ibrahim Raisi who took the helm yesterday.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Iran must face the music for its” notorious attack on an oil tanker, stressing that Iran and all other countries must respect the freedom of trade across the world.
