"WandaVision" Leads MTV Movie & TV Awards Nominations

MTV unveiled Monday the nominees for its MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony on Sunday, May 16.

Disney+’s WandaVision has received five nominations, including best show, the best performance in a show, and best villain. Other top nominees included Netflix’s "Emily in Paris" (4 nominations) and Amazon’s "The Boys" (4 nominations).

Other nominees on the scripted side include "Bridgerton", "The Mandalorian", and "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm".

Late actor Chadwick Boseman received a posthumous nomination for his role in "Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom".

Other notable nominees include first-time nominees Anya Taylor-Joy, Carey Mulligan, and Michaela Coel.

Host, presenters, and additional details for the award shows will be revealed at a later date.

"MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted", which celebrates the year’s most notable reality shows, is set to take place on Monday, May 17.

Fans can begin voting for their favorites today through April 30 at vote.mtv.com.
