US Vice President (VP) Kamala Harris will travel to Germany to take part in the Munich Security Conference, which will be held from February 18-20, the White House said in a statement.
The Vice President's engagements in Munich "will demonstrate our ironclad commitment to our NATO allies, reaffirm our common interest in upholding the principles on which European peace and security have been based since World War II, and affirm our commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the statement read.
It is worth mentioning that the Munich Security Conference is a global annual gathering, to discuss the current and future challenges of international security policy.
