The Belgian ambassador to Egypt, Francois Cornet Delsius hailed the historic ties between Egypt and Belgium.
In press remarks, the Belgian ambassador added that the two countries enjoy a 'strong' economic partnership, pointing out that the volume of trade exchanges between both states amounted to 1.5 billion euros.
Moreover, he noted that the main Belgian exports to Egypt are machinery, equipment, spare parts, and medical sector supplies.
In addition, the top Belgian diplomat underlined the importance of cooperation between the Belgian and Egyptian private sectors in increasing the volume of investments and trade exchanges between both countries.
