The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the establishment of the first school specializing in car maintenance, under the name of the Volkswagen Group School of Applied Technology, in the academic year 2021/2022.
The Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, Dr.Muhammad Mujahid, confirmed that the theoretical aspect of the school will be applied on the basis of curricula based on the merits system, and the practical side by providing workshops and practical training for students in factories and companies, in order to ensure that students keep abreast of developments in the field of car repair and maintenance.
In addition, the Volkswagen school will also play part in preparing new generations of technicians and specialists in the field of car maintenance and repair who are distinguished by their morals, studies, skills and abilities, to become fully qualified to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market, and able to contribute to the development of this field
The Ministry of Education stated that the aim of establishing the Volkswagen school is to localize the auto industry and the industries that feed it in Egypt, and its developmental, environmental and economic dimensions.
