Virgin Galactic which is the first device for space tourism was launched, Thursday, its first space tourists.
The company’s rocket took off at 8:30 am MT from a New Mexico spaceport.
It carried three persons: entrepreneur and health and wellness coach Keisha Schahaff and her daughter Anastatia Mayers, and Olympian Jon Goodwin, who became the second person with Parkinson’s disease to go to space.
The vehicle went more than 50 miles above Earth’s surface, and reached the Kármán line, which marks the line between the Earth and space.
It entered free fall and glided back to the spaceport for a runway landing at 9:30. The journey lasted an hour.
