On Wednesday evening, violent clashes broke out between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces in Sur Baher town in occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian sources in Jerusalem said that a young man was wounded by the occupation bullets during the clashes that erupted after the occupation forces stormed the town.

The sources added that the occupation forces arrested the young man after he was wounded.

Violent confrontations also broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the town of "Jabal Mukaber" in Jerusalem.

In a related context, the Israeli occupation authorities renewed the decision to prevent the Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem, a member of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement, Adnan Ghaith, from entering the West Bank.

Marouf Al-Rifai, the advisor to the governor, said that the occupation authorities summoned the governor, Ghaith, to the so-called Al-Mascobiyya investigation center, detained him, and prevented his lawyer from communicating with him or seeing him, and he was released after handing over the decision.

It is noteworthy that this decision is being renewed for the fifth year in a row, since Governor Ghaith assumed his duties in August 2018.
