Vienna will host a new round of talks between Iran and the world powers such as the European Union, Germany France, Russia, UK, and China on Friday for saving the Iranian Nuclear Deal.
The first round of the talks was finalized on Tuesday. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called the talks a "useful step," and a "new chapter" in a meeting with the cabinet on Wedensday.
Iranian government spokesperson Ali Rabiei stated: “We are not optimistic or pessimistic about the outcome of this meeting now, but we are confident that we are on the right track."
Moreover, the negotiations between Iran and the US would be resumed in a few days in Vienna, however, the US previously described the talks as "difficult."
“We don’t underestimate the scale of the challenges ahead. These are early days. We don’t anticipate an early or immediate breakthrough as these discussions, we fully expect, will be difficult,” State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters during his daily briefing on Monday.
