Video: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Ajman Market, UAE

On Wednesday, a huge fire broke out in a fruits and vegetables market in Ajman near the UAE's new industrial area.

According to press reports, the blaze has started at the Iranian souq, which was closed for several months due to Covid-19 safety measures.

Several fire engines immediately rushed to the scene to put out the fire; a big number of Ajman firefighters have cordoned off the site and used water and foam in extinguishing the blazes which have broken out in many shops.

It is not yet known if anyone was hurt as a result of the incident or the extent of the damage caused.
