Arab media published videos for the first time, Monday, showing the arrival of the plane of the late Iranian Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, at Baghdad Airport.

The Al-Arabiya channel, which published the video, stated that "The US drone lasted only seven minutes after Soleimani's arrival until the moment he was targeted and assassinated.”

Soleimani was killed in an operation that caused a global echo on January 3, 2020.

The video shows the deployment of Shiite security forces to receive the plane, and a number of cars in the company of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and the protocol official at the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.

A few days ago, former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi revealed that "The US plane that assassinated Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Al-Muhandis, near Baghdad airport, had obtained Iraqi approval.”

"The plane that targeted the leaders near the airport got Iraqi approval," Al-Abadi said, in a statement with Iraqi television, noting that he "refused the participation of the UAE, Iranian and Turkish in the battles against ISIS."

On his part, the Iranian "Middle East News" website claimed, last Friday evening, that "The assassination of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis, took place with the knowledge and approval of the Iraqi authorities.”

The site claimed, in a document published, that "the Iraqi Joint Operations Command granted permission for the US side to enter its drones.”

In the meantime, former Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi issued a statement, denying that he had granted approval for the US air force that assassinated the Iranian Quds Force commander and the leader of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Baghdad.
