Vice Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong Meets with Outgoing Ambassador of Egypt to China Assem Hanafi

On March 28, Vice Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong met with outgoing Ambassador of Egypt to China Assem Hanafi.

Chen Xiaodong appreciated Assem Hanafi's contributions to promoting China-Egypt relations during his tenure, and said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Egypt relations have flourished, political mutual trust has continued to deepen, practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and the friendship between the two countries has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Chen Xiaodong expressed the hope that Assem Hanafi will continue to care about the development of bilateral relations and contribute to deepening China-Egypt friendship after leaving the post and returning to his country.
