Veteran Turkish actor and director Kartal Tibet passed away at the age of 83, actor Civan Canova announced on Thursday.
“Goodbye, my brother Kartal, I will miss you so much,” he wrote on Instagram.
Canova didn't provide further details about the late actor's cause of death.

Tibet, who was born in Ankara on March 27, 1938, graduated from Ankara University State Conservatory Theater Department.
The late legend made his acting debut in the 1965 movie "Karaoglan: The Hero Came from Altai ", which was adapted from the comic novel of the same title by Suat Yalaz.
He made his directorial debut with the movie "Tosun Pasha" in 1977.
Tibet starred in many theatrical plays. He also made contributions to Turkish cinema with nearly 200 movies and helped found one of the founders of Ankara's first private theater, Meydan Sahne, in 1961.
He was best known for his movies "Ölmeyen Aşk", "Dağlar Kızı", "Senede Bir Gün", "Sultan", and "Zübük".
