Iconic Egyptian actor Ibrahim Nasr passed away earlier Tuesday at the age of 70, after a long battle with the disease.
The funeral service was held at St.Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, Al Azbakeya, Cairo.
Who is Ibrahim Nasr?
He was born in Shubra neighborhood in Cairo. He achieved a literature degree in 1972. He also won many awards in the acting team while in university.
Nasr started off by imitating the stars and singing especially stars like Ameen El Henaidy. He also did children’s programs and was involved in many television series, as well as plays.
His most famous appearance was through the Egyptian program “Candid Camera” (Al-Camera Al-Khafiya) impersonating a female called “Zakeya Zakaria” which was imprinted in the minds of many Egyptians.
Al-Camera Al-Khafiya was one of the most popular prank shows through which Nasr considerably achieved success over many years.
