The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the south of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Moreover, hot and humid weather will prevail on the Northern coasts.
It is also predicted that high humidity levels would increase the perceived temperature by 2 to 4 degrees.
Furthermore, the country will witness water fog on some roads leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North coasts.
Winds will occasionally occur in Cairo, the western coasts, South Sinai, which reduces the feeling of high humidity at night.
Moderate and humid weather is predicted to prevail across the country at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 37°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 40°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
