Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro expressed his happiness at visiting Egypt and its unique archaeological and tourist destinations, stressing his deep admiration for Egypt, its people, culture and picturesque nature, on the sidelines of his participation in the twenty-seventh session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP 27), which is being held in Sharm El Sheikh.
Maduro published a picture in front of the pyramids with some members of his family, on his official account on Twitter, commenting: "I appreciate the solidarity of the Egyptian people who received us with such affection and hospitality."
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his family were received by Ashraf Mohi El Din, Director General of the Pyramid Antiquities area.
