President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev voiced strong condemnation of the violence affecting civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, particularly the harm inflicted on innocent children and women.
Speaking at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek, Mirziyoyev underscored the need for a unified and resolute stance on pressing international issues, calling for continued dialogue on political and security matters within the organization.
President Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov for hosting the Organization of Turkic States summit.
He condemned efforts to limit UNRWA's work and called for an international solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing the need for a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders.
Mirziyoyev also hoped the upcoming Arab-Muslim summit in Riyadh would lead to a political solution.
On Afghanistan, he stressed maintaining focus on its situation, proposing regular dialogue and support for its integration into regional economic processes.
