The Denver Police Department, in the US state of Colorado, said its officers are searching for three suspects after one person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting Tuesday night.
A man was declared dead at the scene, and three men and two women were hurried to hospital, according to local media.
Among the injured, three are in critical condition, while the other two have non-life-threatening injuries.
The motive behind the shooting has not yet been revealed.
