Wildfires are spreading across the western United States as extreme heat, drought conditions, and strong winds fuel fire activity across the region.
In Utah, one of the largest active wildfires remains out of control, forcing the evacuation of the town of Eureka and a nearby ranch after burning nearly 87 square kilometers of land.
Authorities said the blaze is suspected to have been deliberately started, and an investigation is underway while firefighters continue efforts to contain the flames.
Meanwhile, in Arizona, another wildfire has scorched around 120 hectares of rugged terrain, with emergency crews still battling the fire.
Much of the western US, from the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Coast, is experiencing above-average temperatures, prompting warnings that wildfire risks could worsen as hot and dry weather persists.
