The United States (US) welcomed on Sunday Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II's historic visit to Baghdad, Iraq.
"This visit is an important step in strengthening regional economic and security ties between Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan and to advance regional stability," State Department Spokesman Ned Price said in a statement.
It is worth mentioning that, Sisi, Abdullah II held a tripartite summit with Iraq's president Sunday, in the first visit by an Egyptian head of state to Baghdad in three decades.
