According to a US official, US Vice President JD Vance is expected to depart today for Switzerland to conduct talks between Washington and Tehran, CNN reported.
For his part, US Vice President JD Vance stated that talks with Iran could potentially take place tomorrow, Sunday. He noted that Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are currently in Switzerland to conduct these meetings, according to Fox News.
Vance confirmed that "things are going well" regarding the Iran talks, adding, "I expect to head to Switzerland."
He further emphasized that his country will give negotiations with Iran a chance, stating: "We are confident in our ability to maintain the ceasefire."
