US Vice President Kamala Harris said on Monday that the United States of America (USA) does not plan to send combat forces to Israel or Gaza, according to Al Arabiya.net.
Harris added in an interview with CBS News, a US news channel, that Washington is focusing its efforts on preventing the expansion of the conflict in the region.
She continued: “We do not intend, in any way, to send any combat forces here,” noting also that the United States “does not dictate to Israel what it should do.”
CNN reported, citing American sources that a US Marine Corps quick reaction force was moving towards the eastern Mediterranean.
