US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will visit China from July 6 to July 9, Chinese Ministry of Finance announced.
Yellen will discuss global challenges, including climate change and the debt crisis, during her visit to China, US Treasury official said, according to Reuters.
The official added that the visit comes with the aim of strengthening contacts between the two countries and achieving stability in the relationship between Washington and Beijing.
On the other hand, the US Treasury official confirmed that this visit comes after several delays, following the visit of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to China.
