Deputy Spokesman for US Department of State Vendant Patel stressed his country's keenness to deepen security cooperation and partnership with India, during the official visit scheduled to be paid by Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi to the US next June.
In press remarks, he also considered this official visit as a great opportunity to talk about a number of common priorities, including deepening security cooperation between the two countries, noting that during this visit issues related to trade, the climate crisis and a number of other areas will also be discussed.
Earlier, White House Press Secretary, Karen Jean-Pierre, announced that US President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, will host Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his official visit to the United States (US) next June,
In a statement, White House press secretary stated that the visit is expected to take place on June 22.
The statement added that this visit would confirm the deep and close partnership between the United States (US) and India, as well as the bonds of friendship that bind Americans and Indians together.
